CONTEST START! †

For a while now, I’ve been thinking of changing up my social media avatar. Then it dawned on me; why not hold a contest and ask senpai to create one?!

I give you…my #DrawTheD contest!

Everyone is invited to enter. All you need to do is draw an original picture of me that I can use as my avatar on Facebook and Twitter! The “drawing” can be in any style you choose (color, black & white, hand-drawn, digital art, painting, sculpture, etc.) but please make sure that your image features ME and ME ALONE! The winning entry will be used as my social media avatar for an entire month and the winning artist will also receive a LET IT DIE t-shirt! I will also select two additional entries as honorable mentions and send those artists a t-shirt as well.

The submission period runs from Monday, 4/22/2019 to Friday, 4/29/2019 23:59 (PDT)

Okay, that’s enough from me! Let me turn it over to the bean counters so that they can explain the rules in greater detail.

During the submission period, post an original drawing of Uncle Death on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #DrawTheD. Make sure that your social media post featuring your entry is set to public or else we won’t be able to see it and your entry won’t count!

Remember †

Please make sure that your work is wholly original. Do not submit anyone else’s work as your own or your entry will be disqualified. Additionally, please avoid “remixing” or otherwise using 3rd party works (including official promotional images) within your submission. It’s okay to base your original drawing off of promotional or key art from the game, but downloading an image from the internet that you did not create and “Photoshopping” it to make it appear unique or original will not work.

It is okay to submit an original work even if you previously shared it on social media or elsewhere on the web. As long as the work is yours, you submit it during the entry period and use the hashtag #DrawTheD, it will be accepted as a valid entry. You are also free to submit multiple entries as long as you submit each entry individually in a unique social media post and use the hashtag #DrawTheD.

This contest is about drawing Uncle Death! Make sure to avoid including other characters (from LET IT DIE or any other game, motion picture, literary work, or intellectual property) or even yourself in your entry. Entries that feature characters other than Uncle Death will not be accepted.

• Winners are chosen at the sole discretion of GungHo? Online Entertainment, Inc. (Sponsor).
• Submission must include original content only.
• Participants may submit multiple entries as long as they are unique, and they are the original creator of the included content.
• Submissions may not contain personal attacks on anyone or any discernible product, including competitor products.
• Submissions may not include nudity or other illicit content as determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
• Submissions may not feature any trademarks (including logos) other than those related to LET IT DIE.
• Submissions must be original and created by the person who submits the entry. Contestants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize Submissions from any source, nor may Submissions include third-party copyrighted material or artwork without the copyright holder’s permission. By entering, you warrant that your Submission does not infringe any third party’s rights and -that you have obtained any necessary permissions from all relevant third parties to submit the Submission.
• You hereby agree to indemnify Sponsor against any and all claims from any third party for any use by Sponsor of the Submission.
• Although Sponsor is not reviewing Submissions for copyright violations, if, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, it is believed your Submission constitutes or may constitute copyright infringement, the Submission will be disqualified.
• Sponsor reserves the right to exclude any Submission that it believes, in its sole discretion, doesn’t meet these criteria, -and to delete any such Submission from any and all location(s) under Sponsor’s control.
• Entries can be submitted by anyone, including those not playing LET IT DIE.
• Please make sure your SNS profile is set to public and that the #DrawTheD tag was used or your entry may be invalidated.
• Contest is held internationally, with winners chosen from among all regions.
• Results will be announced on or about Tuesday, April 30, 2019 across the official LET IT DIE website, Twitter, and Facebook.
• Entries that are submitted after the period has ended will not be accepted.
• You verify that you are the legal age required to download and play LET IT DIE in your region.
• Prizes will be distributed via the US Postal Service sometime after the event has ended.
